Senior AI Engineer

About

As a Senior Engineer on the Architecture Systems Team at Teqqed, you’ll become the go-to expert on the frameworks powering large-scale training, efficient sampling, architecture and optimization research, and performance simulations for cutting-edge applications.

You’ll work closely with researchers and engineers across Teqqed to integrate groundbreaking advancements into our training and sampling pipelines, while driving foundational improvements to the core frameworks. You’ll own the benchmarking and simulation tools Teqqed relies on to accurately predict performance and design configurations for new models.

In this role, you’ll help set the strategic direction for the Architecture Systems Team, mentor junior team members, and play a pivotal role in shaping the evolution of our frameworks. If you’re ready to lead and innovate, this is the opportunity for you.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• 1–3 years of experience working with large language models (e.g., Claude, GPT-4), preferably in an industry setting.

• Proficiency in Python and familiarity with modern development tools such as Git, Anaconda, Pip, Docker, and cloud services.

• Capable of developing production-grade standalone libraries, moving beyond notebook-level code.

• Strong individual contributor mindset with exceptional problem-solving and communication abilities.

• Prior experience working with LLM interfaces, with the ability to share code repositories during the interview process.

• Demonstrated expertise in Python-based development and AI/ML frameworks such as PyTorch and TensorFlow; knowledge of clinical development is a bonus.

• Solid understanding of database management systems, including both SQL and NoSQL databases.

• Proficient in training and fine-tuning AI models (LLMs) and integrating them with cutting-edge solutions.

• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms like Microsoft Azure or AWS.

• Practical experience in using cloud data engineering tools.

• Familiarity with Cloud Composer for orchestrating data workflows.

• Understanding of GCP requirements and pharmaceutical regulations.

• Strong problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.

• Adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
